Accessibility statement
Last reviewed: October 19, 2026
1. Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use the TakeTheme website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard only, zoom or reduced-motion settings. This statement covers the taketheme.com marketing site in Arabic and English, including the Help Center.
2. Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site is currently partially conformant: most content meets the standard, with the known limitations listed below that we are working on.
3. What we have done
- A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page, a clearly visible keyboard focus indicator, and menus that open and close from the keyboard and with Esc.
- Pages structured with ordered headings and landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer), with the correct language and direction on every page (Arabic right-to-left, English left-to-right).
- Text alternatives for informative images, decorative icons hidden from screen readers, and translated names for icon-only buttons.
- Forms with visible labels, marked required fields and error messages tied to their field and read out by screen readers.
- Your system’s “reduce motion” setting is respected: animations and auto-advancing content stop, and no video plays automatically with sound.
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1, and content that reflows without horizontal scrolling at up to 400% zoom.
- Automated axe-core testing of every page in both languages, plus manual keyboard checks, as part of the site’s continuous tests.
4. Known limitations
- Some dashboard screenshots and illustrations are decorative; what they show is explained in the surrounding text rather than described in detail.
- The product demo video has no audio and no captions; the text next to it explains what it shows.
- The merchant dashboard and merchants’ storefronts are separate services not covered by this statement.
- Third-party sites linked from ours (such as social networks) are outside our control.
5. Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and with common screen readers such as NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack.
6. Report a problem
If anything on the site is hard to use, or you need content in another format, email us at support@taketheme.com with the page link, the problem you ran into and the browser or assistive technology you use. We reply to accessibility feedback as soon as we can and tell you what we will do about it.
