The basic requirement before setting up email on your domain: you must already have a custom domain added (see the article "Connecting a Domain to Your Store" if you haven't done this step yet).

What we actually saw was the DNS Configuration section that appears automatically after adding any domain, containing the records required to verify domain ownership and connect it to your store.

After you add your domain and verify it via DNS, the logical next step to set up email with an address on your domain name (such as info@yourdomain.com) is most likely adding MX records specific to the email provider you'll use (Google Workspace, Zoho Mail, or another), on the same DNS configuration page.
💡 Setting up email records (MX) is separate from connecting the domain to your store itself — connecting the domain makes your store open at yourdomain.com, while MX records route @yourdomain.com messages to your actual mailbox at an external email provider.
