🔧 Steps to connect a custom domain

From your store settings, choose Manage domain, then in the Add new domain section, enter your domain (in the format domain.com without www or a subdomain), and click Add.

After adding it, you'll find in the DNS configuration section two values you need to add in your domain provider's settings — Namecheap, GoDaddy, or any other provider.

Go to your domain's control panel at the provider, change the Nameservers setting to Custom DNS, and add the two values ns1.taketheme.com and ns2.taketheme.com in place of the default nameservers.
💡 Activating the domain after changing the nameservers isn't instant — it usually takes anywhere from an hour to 48 hours depending on how fast DNS updates propagate globally (propagation). Until it's activated, your store keeps working normally on the free subdomain.

My domain already has www, how do I add it?
Add only the base part without www or any subdomain (i.e. domain.com, not www.domain.com) — the system rejects other formats with a clear warning message.
I don't have a domain yet, can I work without one?
Yes, your store runs automatically on a free TakeTheme subdomain from the moment you open your account. You can add your own domain at any time later from the same page.
I changed the nameservers a few days ago and the domain still isn't working, is something wrong?
Check that you added the values ns1.taketheme.com and ns2.taketheme.com exactly, and that you selected the Custom DNS option at your domain provider. If it's been more than 48 hours, open a support ticket.
