🔍 Do product reviews and their images migrate automatically?
We reviewed the import tool (External Provider) in detail, and found that it migrates the primary product images (linked in the export file or platform account) as part of the product data, but the product reviews themselves — customer comments and star ratings from your old store — are not migrated via the current import tool.
💡 Important: reviews are linked to the customer account and the actual order they bought through on the old platform, and since orders and customers aren't migrated in the first place (see the "What migrates automatically and what's set up manually?" article), it follows that the reviews linked to them aren't migrated either.
🔧 The alternative: managing reviews manually after migration

After your product migration is complete, open Products → Manage product reviews to check the new reviews page in TakeTheme (empty at first for a newly migrated store).

If you have important reviews from your old store you want to keep, the currently available solution is to copy them manually (the review text and star rating) and add them as content on the product page, or contact TakeTheme support to ask about the latest available options.
