🔧 Steps to filter and export orders
Above the orders list, you'll find ready-made tabs like All and Paid order — click + Filter to add custom filter conditions.
Choose the filter type (like Status), and set the value (like Open) — the filter is applied automatically as soon as you choose it, with no need for additional confirmation, and you can combine multiple filters together to narrow down the results.
If you'll keep using this filter regularly, click Save as new view after setting up the filters so it's saved as a permanent tab above the orders list (like the ready-made Paid order tab).
To export data, click the Export button at the top right of the page — a window opens with 3 options for the data scope: Current page (fast), All orders (complete), or Orders by date range (custom).
Choose the data scope and file format, then click Export orders — the resulting file appears once processing is complete under Orders → Export jobs.
💡 Exporting all orders takes longer depending on the size of your store, and it appears as a processing job you can track progress on from the export jobs page instead of waiting for the download instantly.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
What data scope options are available when exporting?
3 options: Current page only (fast), All orders in your store (complete), or Orders within a specific date range you choose yourself (custom).
Is the filter I set saved if I leave the page?
No, unless you click "Save as new view" — otherwise the filters reset automatically each time you enter the page again.
What's the difference between the two available export file formats?
The first (CSV for Excel or Numbers) is formatted to open correctly in spreadsheet programs, and the second (plain CSV file) is a simpler format compatible with any other system that reads standard CSV.
