🔧 Steps to enable and configure cash on delivery

From Settings, open Payment Gateways, and enable the Cash on Delivery (COD) toggle on its card.

Set the acceptance limits: the minimum and maximum order value for which cash on delivery is allowed (to prevent misuse of the option on high-value orders, for example).

Save the settings — once saved, "Cash on delivery" appears as a payment option to the customer at checkout as long as their cart value falls within the limits you set.
💡 If the customer's order exceeds the maximum limit you set, the cash-on-delivery option automatically disappears from the checkout page, and only the enabled electronic payment gateways will show.

After the order reaches the customer and the amount is collected, update the payment status from the order's details page itself to record the amount as collected.

The limits currently available on this page are based on order value (minimum and maximum), not on geographic area.
Are there extra fees on cash on delivery?
That comes down to your agreement with the shipping company that collects the amount on your behalf, and is not a fee from TakeTheme itself.
How do I track orders still pending collection?
From the Orders page, filter by payment status to show orders whose payment method is COD and are still marked as not collected.
