🔍 Does TakeTheme's pricing depend on weight?
We reviewed the Shipping Zones pricing setup window in detail, and found that each shipping zone is currently priced with a single flat rate (Flat Rate) for each shipping rate you add (rate name, delivery time, and price), not tiered weight ranges (e.g. 0-2 kg at one price, 2-5 kg at a higher price).
💡 Important: this means that calculating shipping cost in TakeTheme currently depends solely on the geographic zone (the country/governorate you set for each shipping zone), not on the weight or size of the order's products. If you want to differentiate the price for different weights, the available workaround is to create more than one "rate" within the same zone under different names (such as "Standard shipping" and "Bulky shipping"), and the customer manually chooses between them at checkout.
🔧 The available workaround: multiple shipping rates within the same zone
From Settings → Shipping Zones, open the zone you want.
Add more than one shipping rate with clear names that express the difference (e.g. "Standard shipping" at a lower price, and "Bulky order shipping" at a higher price).
Save — the customer will see all rates available for their zone at checkout, and manually choose the one that fits their order size.
