🔧 Steps to create a new shipping zone
From Settings, choose Shipping Zones, then click the edit icon on an existing zone, or Add shipping zone to create a new one.
In the zone edit window, set the following details then click Save:
1 — Zone Name — an internal name only you see, e.g. Greater Cairo.
2 — Countries — choose one or more countries covered by this zone.
3 — Governorates — after selecting the country, choose the covered governorates or select all.
4 — Shipping Rates — the rate name, estimated delivery time, and the price in EGP.
💡 To enable free shipping above a certain order amount, add an extra shipping rate priced at 0 EGP and enable the "Apply within a weight range" option, or tie it to a minimum-order condition on the advanced shipping page.

Can I set a different shipping rate based on order weight?
Yes, when adding a shipping rate enable the "Apply within a weight range" option and set the minimum and maximum weight for that specific rate.
What happens if the customer's address doesn't fall inside any shipping zone?
The customer can't complete the order, and sees a notice that shipping isn't available for their area — make sure you cover every governorate you sell to.
Does editing a shipping zone's rate affect old orders?
No, the change only applies to new orders placed after saving. Prices on previous orders stay as they were at the time they were created.
