Customer Order Notifications (WhatsApp / Email)

Set the customer notification channels for every automation order event.

Last updated: 2026-09-08

📌 Customer order notifications aren't a standalone settings page — they're set per order event individually from within Automations, and this is the real flow we arrived at after a direct audit of the dashboard.

🔧 Steps to set customer notification channels for an order

From the sidebar, go to Automated campaigns, you'll find a list of the ready-made order events, click the event and then Edit.
Scroll to the Channels and templates section — you'll find two checkboxes for the two available communication channels: Email and WhatsApp.
Enable or disable the channel needed for this specific event, then save the change — each order event has its own independent channel setting.
💡 We noticed in the dashboard only two channels currently available for notifications: Email and WhatsApp. We did not notice an SMS option within the channels and templates section.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Can I enable both WhatsApp and email together for the same event?

If I have more than one order event, is the channel setting shared between them?

No, each event has its own independent edit page with its own channels and templates section — you need to set the channels for each event separately.

Does WhatsApp work automatically without any additional setup?

The WhatsApp channel is linked to the "Automated campaigns → Channels" settings in the sidebar — check it to make sure it's connected properly before enabling it on any event.
